for hikers and day packers, Mountrek’s LiteHiking™ collection
gives you everything you need for a comfortable
and safe day on the trail or turf. Technically
developed constructions comprise nine layers from
outsole to footbed, ensuring comfort and stability
with every step. To start, a molded rubber outsole
incorporates directional trail lugs for superior
traction. A puncture-resistant plate runs heel
to toe, protecting the entire foot from sharp rocks
or tree roots. A compression-molded EVA midsole
and polyurethane heel support are also part of
the advanced architecture. But there’s even
more to this shoe’s progressive composition.
A PolyStride™ footbed combines open-cell
foam and moisture-wicking fabric: shoe and boot
uppers are waterproof, breathable mesh — completing
shoes that are both rugged and stylish.
